As a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with six years of experience mainly in software development projects, I have honed my skills in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. My expertise lies in eliciting requirements, conducting thorough analysis, and ensuring successful project implementation. Through my previous roles, I have demonstrated a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

 

In my capacity as Vice President for Professional Development, I am committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within our organization. My goal is to empower our team members to reach their full potential by providing them with access to relevant training, mentorship programs, and career development opportunities. By investing in our members' professional development, we can strengthen our organization's capabilities and drive innovation.

With a robust background in business architecture and technical consulting, I have over a decade of experience leading digital transformation initiatives and enterprise-wide strategies across various industries, including telecommunications, banking, and transport. My expertise spans system integration, process optimization, and the application of AI-driven solutions. I have successfully led teams to streamline business processes, implement ERP systems, and create architectural frameworks that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across organizations. Currently, I am serving as a Group Business Analyst, where I oversee enterprise strategies and develop innovative solutions for complex business challenges.

 

By joining IIBA Philippines, I aim to contribute to the growth and development of the business analysis community. My objective is to promote architectural thinking and best practices that align with global standards like TOGAF and BABOK. I believe that sharing my expertise in digital transformation and business process optimization can help elevate the skills of fellow analysts and drive impactful solutions across industries in the Philippines. This aligns with my professional background, as both involve developing strategic frameworks and improving processes to ensure that businesses can adapt to evolving technological landscapes.

I’m a CPA and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, currently leading a team of Business Analysts at an Australian company. My work revolves around optimizing operations, improving efficiency, and making data-driven decisions. With a background in finance and process improvement, I’ve seen firsthand how business analysis can bridge the gap between challenges and sustainable growth.

 

I’m excited to collaborate with IIBA Philippines to help strengthen the BA community, exchange insights, and connect with like-minded professionals. I see this as a great opportunity to learn from others, share my own experiences, and contribute to the growing impact of business analysis in our industry.

In my 20 years in IT, I discovered that `i have a great passion in building more leaders.  I enjoy the journey of discovering others' potentials, nurturing them and preparing them to embrace the responsibility of being a leader.  I am a Senior Project Manager by profession with Agile Coach certification.  I lead teams of Project Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and Software Engineers to deliver varying products and services in different modern technology stack and methodologies.

 

When I interview BA candidates, I ask them 'What is your understanding of Business Analysis?' I always get the same answer - bridge between users and dev team, ensures quality by performing tests.  I joined IIBA to promote the depth of Business Analysis encompassing a very wide spectrum of  skills, processes, tools, methodologies, frameworks that will really fortify an individual's fundamental skills and experience as a professional regardless of role.

I am currently a software tester, with skills in project management, business analysis, customer service, digital marketing, and software development. I aspire to transition as a Business Analyst myself and help other aspiring professionals to reach it and grow in this line of specialization.

 

I'm envisioning IIBA Philippines as the national center of excellence when it comes to business analysis and that's what I'm trying to accomplish. Looking forward to make this chapter a source of standardization of the practice and be a belonging place for business analysts and other related roles.

As a Business Architecture Consultant and Product Owner i support intake initiatives that drives and align with global IT strategies in our organization. With 14 years of IT experience across real estate, finance and BPO/IT consulting.

 

With IIBA, as a Social Media Volunteer Member, my goal is to be an enabler of organic reach growth of Business Analyst spectrum in the Philippines thru increase visibility in social media platform.
