RATIONALE:

As Technology evolves continuously, it is imperative that personal data has become part of our daily transactions when online affairs become too rampant nowadays. Having this in mind, we are faced with harsh truths that we need to protect these data from cyber-attacks, online theft, or even other related cybercrimes. 

For the month of August 2022, IIBA Philippines focuses on the introduction to one of the newest specializations in IIBA Certification – Certification in Cybersecurity Analysis (CCA). As Business Analysts, we must understand that cybersecurity has become crucial to the success or failure of today’s organization. Technology as well as Concepts improves abruptly. And as the one who facilitates changes into the workplace, we are faced with urgency to cultivate this ever changing part of technology.

KEY POINT:

Most of the Business Analyst nowadays have little to no understanding of the concepts, techniques and best practices of Cybersecurity which leads to the establishment of a new yet significant aspect of technology. Being the agent for change, we must propagate discussions that would raise awareness to digital security against online transgressions. Furthermore, apply simple practices that enables us to support cybersecurity within our organizations or through online transactions frequently.
