President – Manu de los Reyes 

Manu de los Reyes is a Business Analyst at UBX Philippines, a fast growing Fintech company whose mission is to make financial services inclusive and accessible to everyone. For the Philippines, being an archipelago country with many far flung hard to reach areas, this goal has become even more critical and the role of technology meets business needs has been crucial in its continued success.

Manu studied at De La Salle University Manila and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. Fascinated by the impact technology can have on business outcomes and on communities in general, he pursued a career as a business analyst. He has been supporting IT solutions development in varying industries such as healthcare and insurance, HRIS and payroll, and Fintech. 

Manu loves to meet, work with, and of course socialize with people from different backgrounds and cultures. He's into music and art, and other forms of storytelling. 

By working with IIBA, and with the talent pool that works and studies in the Philippines and the Philippines timezone, he hopes to help upskill and develop professionals and businesses around the world. 

 

Vice President of Professional Development – Bryan Sison 

Bryan is a Business Analyst from Yondu, Inc. and is a contingent worker for AXA Philippines which focuses on the Technological Solutions for it's Retail Distribution Services Department. He held several positions from different corporate sectors and gained 14 years of IT Professional experience.

Bryan has always facinates himself to learn more and devote himself to further education. Even after he graduate his bachelors degree in Lyceum of the Philippines University where he took Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Graduated last April 2007. He attempted to take a Masters of Science in Computer Science in De La Salle University - Manila Last October 2010 yet unable to complete due to conflicting schedules with work. He had acquired his ITIL v3 Foundation Course Certificate last January 2014 and is saving for the very first IIBA Certification soon. 

He is still single at the age of 37 and is living independently at Makati City, Philippines. He envision himself as someone who can help groups or organizations to grow and make impactful development that provides quality products and services for everyone especially that relates to Technology in the Philippines and eventually across the globe

Vice President of Marketing – Maybel Mangrobang

Maybel is part of the Strategy Realisation Office of World Vision International. She provides quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic decision-making. She has more than a decade of experience in business analysis, business process improvement, BI visualizations, tools creation, global due diligence, account management, financial planning and reporting amongst other skills and techniques. She recently passed the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt exam and is currently finishing her project. Maybel is also set to take her Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP®) certification next year, with the help of IIBA Bluegrass study group.

She is married and has 2 wonderful kids, and is active at church activities.

Maybel would like to see the Philippines Chapter promote the value of business analysts and to help the Philippine community grow, have in-depth skills and be world-class professionals.

Program Manager – Nino Lopez

Nino Lopez, Nins as fondly called by family and colleagues is the Program Manager of Business Analysis Center of Excellence at Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. He leads the BA sub-tower with a growing organization of 100+ Business, and Systems Analysis professionals. He is a hands-on and diligent operations manager, ensuring that top BA candidates are hired, deployed, and equipped with the right tools and equal opportunities to deliver quality work for their respective projects.

Nino is a graduate of BS CSIT major in Systems Software Engineering from Asia Pacific College and is a proud scholar of Sy Family's SM Foundation. He then took up MS Computer Science major in Software Development at Mapua Institute of Technology (now: Mapua University) thru a full scholarship grant from Emerson Process Management-Fisher Rosemount Systems Inc.

He has been working in the IT industry since 2008 and has gained experience in a variety of fields, including process automation, payment services, telecommunications, and human resource consulting. His expertise is in banking and financial services, which also paved the way for him to pursue career as a Business Analyst.
He is an active participant of IIBA Tampa Bay's study group that also helps him as he prepare for his upcoming CBAP exam.

Head of Analytics – Candylee Somoba-Lopez

Candy graduated with bachelor's degree in Information Technology from AMA University, and continued graduate studies towards Masters of Science in IT, major in Management Information Systems at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Candy's professional experience spans over 18 years. Had a quick 1 year stint in the Academe before moving on to the Business Analysis profession, gaining experience of 8 years in IT Solutions, and more that 10 years and counting in the Banking and Financial Services industry. 

Candy started her career in the Business-Focused mix, performing key roles in Quality Assurance, Process Engineering, and Process Audit, under the CMMI capability model. Now involved in Technology-Oriented initiatives, Candy works in the capacity of Senior Business Analyst for a strategic IT program of Philippine's largest universal bank.

Candy dedicates her free time in pursuit of knowledge and excellence in work. She have been enrolled in professional development courses such as project management, and data analytics. She also volunteers for She Loves Data, a non-profit social enterprise that inspires women around the globe to become active contributors to an increasingly data-driven world. Candy is also an active member of the Analytics Association of the Philippines, or AAP.

Candy is currently pursuing Data Analytics Manager program as a Scholar of Project SPARTA - Smarter Philippines through Data Analytics R&D, Training and Adoption. A Development Academy of the Philippines program, in partnership with DOST, and Analytics Association of the Philippines.

Despite of her seemingly busy schedule, she performs balance act as a wife, and loving mother to a 9 year old kid. She also participates in discipling a group of career people at Christ's Commission Fellowship.
